Today, a few thoughts about yesterday’s New Moon in Aries — which, in addition to the New Moon itself, was accompanied by six other bodies in the same sign, making it a total of seven objects gathered in Aries.
It was a very intense day for me, and I can still feel this energy. It hasn’t fully faded yet, but it’s already starting to settle.
I’m highly sensitive to energy — I feel almost every New Moon and Full Moon, and sometimes even geomagnetic activity. But yesterday was especially emotionally heavy for me: anxiety, tears over small things, as if everything had reached a breaking point, and a constant stream of thoughts that felt impossible to stop.
At the same time, the Sun, Moon, Mars, Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, and Chiron were all in Aries — a rare concentration that astrologers describe as one of the most powerful moments of the year. This New Moon has been referred to as a “cosmic fire”: the beginning of a new cycle of action, decisions, and change, where fiery energy demands real expression in everyday life.
From an astrological perspective, a New Moon is always a point of reset — the start of a new cycle and an internal recalibration. Aries, in turn, is associated with beginnings, impulse, initiative, willpower, action, and the theme of “self.” That’s why a New Moon like this isn’t just about renewal — it’s about being pushed forward: to begin, to decide, to claim your space, to cut away what’s no longer needed, and to take the first step.
But this energy also has a shadow side. Aries doesn’t like to wait, so along with motivation, it often brings irritability, anxiety, emotional surges, internal pressure, and mental overload. Especially when so many astrological factors are concentrated in one sign, like yesterday. Many interpretations described this New Moon as intense, fiery, impulsive, and strongly action-driven.
The theme of this cycle is initiative, bold and decisive steps, and breaking out of stagnation — especially in areas of self-expression, career, and your personal role as “the one at the center of your own life.” The first and second lunar days following such a New Moon are a good time to set intentions, define plans, and focus on anything that requires personal initiative, a career push, or projects where you are the face and the leader.
Whether you believe in astrology or not, moments like this tend to surface what has been building underneath for a while. They don’t create anything new — they reveal what’s already there and push it into motion. The question is not whether the energy is real, but what you choose to do with it.
